THE TIDE RIder is a bike trailer created for recreational water sport enthusiasts. Designed by a team of 4 industrial designers at the University of washington in collaboration with RAD power bikes.

We designed the trailer to fold upwards allowing our user to navigate narrow spaces.
Our user has the freedom to pack how they want with an open-bed frame. The trailer also has the ability to carry multiple boards with an adjustable support bar.
The open-bed can take on an array of items our users need to carry for different activities. For fishing, the bed is also compatible with a rod holder accessory.
Integrating a workable surface gives our user the space they need without having to carry an additional item. In this case, our table replaces a foldable one.
